Deep Tissue Massage
DTM is a rehabilitation therapeutic massage that targets and realigns the deeper layers of muscles, tendons and fascia (dense tight connective tissue). The techniques used are deep compression of the muscle, long firm slow strokes and heat.
This therapy is very helpful for chronic aches and pains, muscle tension, fibrotic build up in the muscles (knots), stiff neck, shoulders & upper back, lower back pain, tight & stiff legs and is particularly effective for sciatica.
The ultimate goal of deep tissue massage is to release tight fascia, to allow muscles to move with ease thus providing pain relief and is also an excellent pain management tool.
Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release is a hands-on approach that involves applying sustained yet gentle pressure into the myofascial framework of connective tissue restrictions in order to eliminate pain and liberate motion and movement. It is a very effective and safe approach to treating the whole body and focusses on the entire fascial structure.
Myofascial pain can be caused from either the skeletal muscle or the connective tissue which becomes restricted and ‘bound down’ by very tight fascia that hinders or inhibits movement. Pain can also be generated by damaged myofascial tissue and muscle fibres contractions and exacerbating pain.
Myofascial release treatment is preformed directly on the skin without creams or oils and involves applying firm sustained movement and pressure to facilitate release of the fascia. Techniques applied may include movement unwinding & deep tissue massage and are targeted to tight muscles to relax the fascia and facilitate improved range of movement.
Myofascial release is particularly effective at unblocking stored emotions resulting in emotional release.

The hot stones placed on the body open up energy flow and induce a state of deep relaxation.

Thai Hand & Foot Massage
Thai hand and foot massage is a mixture of many influences including Ayurveda, acupressure, and warm bamboo massage. The massage includes working on ‘sen’ lines, which means or channel or line in Thai, and are similar to the meridians found in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Repetitive strains and stiffness, or wear and tear of the forearms, hands, lower legs and feet is common problem in the body. These delicate yet strong, hard working body parts are often ignored in therapies and thrive when a Thai massage is applied.
The massage is carried out on the forearms, hands, lower legs and feet which are firstly prepared for massage by soaking and cleansing in warm lavender oil water, exfoliated and washed with our own foot/hand scrub, this alone is both an invigorating and relaxing treatment.
Traditional Thai techniques are used to stretch and massage the delicate joints and muscles to energise tired feet and loosen tight hands, followed by applying oils and using traditional bamboo massage sticks to release pressure to the sen energy channels. The techniques of Thai hand and foot massage are thought to open and stimulate these energy channels, leaving you feeling calm, relaxed, invigorated and balanced.

Tarot
Tarot reading is the centuries-old practice of using a 78-card deck as a tool of divining wisdom and guidance through a specific layout of Tarot cards and is a powerful tool for self-discovery and reflection. The art or practice of discovering hidden knowledge or unusual insight through divine messages and practitioners use tarot cards to attempt to gain insight into the past, present or future to help to help navigate the way forward.
Tarot card interpretation can be used to answer a myriad of questions by those who have learned and connected with their deck. The stories and symbolism intertwined with the tarot deck are meant to elicit a reaction from the subconscious in order to make connections that might not have been seen otherwise.
While tarot cards do not give the reader the ability to see the future, they are a way to reflect, react, and respond accordingly and today it is a tool of intuition and the Tarot is recognised as being an effective means of personal growth.
Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic practice that uses guided hypnosis to help a client reach a focussed concentration, trance-like state of focus, limited peripheral awareness, and enhanced suggestibility.
Sometimes called hypnotic suggestion, this state is similar to being completely absorbed in a task, music, a book, movie, or one's own meditations or thoughts. In this state a person is highly susceptible and responsive to an image or idea, yet are not under anyone’s ‘control’. Rather a trained hypnotherapist can help clients achieve this relaxed state and guide their attention inwards to discover and apply resources within themselves that can help them achieve their desired outcome be it, behavioural changes, or better manage pain or other physical concerns.
The ultimate goal is to empower clients so they can learn to address their states of awareness on their own and in doing so, gain greater control of their physical and psychological responses.
